Tenants at 1890 Broad Street in Cranston, in response to terrible living conditions and an unresponsive landlord, have formed the Elmwood Realty Tenants Union with the help of housing justice and tenant organizing group Reclaim RI. State Representative Cherie Cruz (Democrat, District 58, Pawtucket), who is an organizer with Reclaim RI, held a press conference with the tenants.
